Western Cape: plan a regional visit

Cape Town, the Winelands and the Garden Route offer different travel bases. Use actual venue locations to plan realistic days.

Choose a travel base

Cape Town is a practical urban base for a city visit; Worcester and the Winelands require their own route planning. Farther east, Mossel Bay and other Garden Route destinations involve longer driving. Use the city pages to see the addresses actually recorded in the catalogue. A province listing does not imply that every town contains a casino.

Keep nature in the itinerary

Plantweb's historical references concern South African plants and Cape flora. The botanical heritage section keeps known old subjects accessible alongside the new travel directory. Check reserve opening times, seasonal conditions and walking access through the reserve's current official sources. Never collect plants without the required permission.

Check the final details

Use a current map for driving conditions and contact the venue about parking, admission and opening times. Do not use this static directory for live traffic or weather decisions. Pair any evening visit with a confirmed return journey and a separate travel budget.
